I’m a petite woman and these are my adventures setting up a business geared specifically for women 5′4″ and under. Comments welcome. Donations, too. Especially, if you’ve got petite clothes or anything else in small sizes.

This whole thing came about because I wanted a bike, and I couldn’t find one. Oh, I found bikes all right but nothing that really fit me. Then, I thought about all the basic stuff that people need just to go about the day. Stuff like clothes. Or a car. A bra. A backpack. I’m not picky. I don’t need a huge selection. I just need one. Or maybe two. And yes, if it paid a little attention to style that’d be great. But I don’t want to obsess about how pretty my dress is, I want to go to the party already! I was tired of searching for bicycles, I wanted to ride!

And, I need more than work clothes. Suits. Business wear. I have a life outside of work. And frankly, haven’t these people ever heard of business casual? I like nice clothes, and I like hanging out, and I have a sense of style. There have got to be clothes for me and I don’t want to have to go to twelve different websites or stores to get a single outfit.

For now, I’m keep an update on how the store’s coming. My plan is that you’ll be able to find everything you need in one spot. Here. Until then, I’ll detail where to find specific things and describe exactly why they’re petite appropriate. Also, I’m going on the road to talk to manufacturers, etc. as I try out their products.
